The quake
Chile 2010 occurred along the coast of the Maule Region of Chile on February
27, 2010 at 3h34min local time ( UTC 6h34min ) , reaching a magnitude of 8.8 on
the moment magnitude scale and lasting for three minutes . The quake was felt
in the capital Santiago with intensity VIII on the Mercalli scale ( Ruinous ) .
Tremors were felt in many Argentine cities , including Buenos Aires , Córdoba ,
Mendoza and La Rioja . Other senses were further north , such as the city of
Ica in southern Peru. Alerts tsunami
were issued by 53 countries , [ and a tsunami was recorded , with waves
exceeding 2.6 m , offshore Valparaiso , Chile. President Michelle Bachelet
declared a "state of calamity." She also confirmed the deaths of at
least 723 people. Many others were recorded as missing Seismologists estimate
that the earthquake was so powerful that the earthquake would have shortened the
length of day by 1.26 microseconds and moved the Earth's axis and 8 cm . The
earthquake's epicenter was at sea in the region of Maule , about 8 miles west
of Curanipe and 115 km north-northeast
of Chile's second largest city , Concepción . The earthquake also caused
seichas that occurred on Lake Pontchartrain north of New Orleans , United
States , located about 7600 km from the earthquake epicenter . The earthquake
occurred along the boundary between the Nazca Plate and South American Plate ,

buildings and fires were reported in Concepción . The government had recorded
215 deaths in the end of the first day
.Four days later, the death toll has reached 815 . In Santiago
International Airport , one of its runways to reach the entrance fell . Ducted
air conditioning broke , flooding the lobby , which was also badly damaged .
Was no loss of equipment , such as televisions , screens , signs and objects
from the shops . The airport authorities have closed all flight operations for
72 hours , although there was no structural damage to the building of the
airport, the control tower and no clues to who resisted perfectly quakes
. Jucelino , sent letters on this fact to some time ago -
see the words on either side of the letter - trying to minimize the pain of the
innocent victims who did not expect a sudden seismic movement that day . And
after sending several letters , Jucelino Luz , received other information ,
which were sent to the President of Chile Sebastian Piñera . And this next
missive , tries to warn the people of Chile caution that they may have with the
dates in the letter and that nothing bad happen to all people . And we must
remember that prophetic visions are not predestination , only warnings to
beware of a possible event that can anticipate and delay their date indicated
